1. Judges scores are final.
2. Individual acts only.
3. Contestants are allowed to use their own CD.
4. Monitors with words are allowed.
5. Participants may try to qualify as many times as they wish at any of the participating establishments, but once you have qualified at a participating establishment; you can no longer compete at that location. You can compete at other locations.
6. Employees and Karaoke DJs can only qualify outside their establishment.
7. This is an amateur competition. You are considered an amateur if you are not under a recording contract.
8. Contestants are permitted to sing the same song as previous contestants and may sing the same song only once per event.
9. Weekly judges are to be selected by the Host Venue.
10. Ties will result in a 2nd round “sing off” (different song) and will be re-scored by the judges.
11. Your individual scores are available for viewing upon request for a period of 30 minutes after the contest is over. (Excluding State and Grand Final levels)
12. Failure to comply with all “Rules and Regulations” may result in disqualification.
13. All types and kinds of music are allowed. (Country, Rock, Blues, etc.)
14. Talking to and any contact with the judges is discouraged and harassment is grounds for disqualification from the contest. Final decision to be made by the staff of Kick’n Up Kountry, Inc.
15. You may not change your song after the sign-ups are closed.
16. Proper behavior is expected. Improper behavior will result in disqualification. Improper behavior includes: intoxication, poor sportsmanship, bad manners, or lack of decorum.
17. Kick’n Up Kountry, Inc. is only responsible for prize packages provided entirely by Kick’n Up Kountry, Inc.
18. Kick’n Up Kountry, Inc. reserves the right to exclude any person or persons from the contest at any time, for any reason.
19. Prize packages must be utilized by the end of the calendar year in which they were won.
20. You must be 21 years or older to enter, unless accompanied by a parent. A parent’s signature is required. Individuals who are under 21 will be allowed only in the establishments that will allow this. Be prepared to show a valid ID.
21. The bar will settle discrepancies.
22. There will be 4 weeks of competition.
23. Kick’n Up Kountry, Inc. is not responsible for any injuries or problems occurring during the contests.
24. The bars are allowed to add any prizes they wish to the prizes provided by Kick’n Up Kountry, Inc. and 7 Clans Casino. Two winners will be selected during each of the qualifying weeks. 1st place winner will move onto the Semi-Finals (location yet to be determined) and receives a pair of reserved tickets to the Kick’n up Kountry Music Festival. ($220 value) 2nd place winner will move onto the Semi-Finals, receive a one night, two-day stay at 7 Clans Casino plus 6 water park passes. ($130 value)
25. Final week (4th week): Two winners from each location or bar will move on to the Semi-Finals at a location yet to be determined.
26. Winner of the Grand Finals receives the honor of opening for Steve Holy on Sat. September 2nd, wins $1500 cash, Buy $10 and get $10 free at 7 Clans Casino, and wins a pair of VIP tickets to Kick’n Up Kountry music festival. ($3000 value)
27. 2nd Place winner of the Grand Finals receives $1000, a free night stay at 7 Clans Casino in the Executive Suite, 6 water park passes, and buy $10 and get $10 free ($1220 value)
28. 3rd Place winner of the Grand Finals receives $500, 2 day stay in the Fireplace Suite, 6 Water park passes and buy $10 and get $10 free ($660 value)
29. 4th Place winner of the Grand Finals receives $50 and buy $10 and get $10 free
30. 5th Place winner of the Grand Finals receives $50 and buy $10 and get $10 free
31. 6th Place through 20th place will receive free a $39.95 room in one of 7 Clans Casino’s standard suites based on availability.

On July 21st at the 7 Clans Casino, Hotel & Indoor Water Park, a Pre-Kick'n Up Kountry Concert - Kick'n Up Kountry's Karaoke Kontest finals will be held with back-up provided by the Whiskey Johnson Band from 6-10 P.M.
3 Judges at each event selected by the Host Venue
Each Judge will receive a reserved ticket from Kick’n Up Kountry, Inc. if they judge
the 4 weeks.
Competition needs to be completed by July 9th
Prizes: Each week the top two winners of the competition will move on to compete in the fourth week of the local competition.
1st place winner will move on to the final week and receive a pair of reserved tickets to Kick’n Up Kountry. ($220 value)
2nd place winner will move on to the final week and receive a One night, two-day stay at 7 Clans Casino plus 6 Water-park passes. ($130 value)
Final week: The top two winners from each location or bar will move on to the Semi-Finals at a location yet to be determined.
The top 40 contestants chosen at the Semi-Finals will move to the Grand Finals at Seven Clans Casino on July 21st.
