Country Storm
Country Storm hit the Northern Minnesota Music Scene in May of 2011. The band is driven by a diverse and highly experienced group of musicians. Founder and lead singer / guitarist Rocky Pierce is well traveled, and played country music since he was a young boy. Rockie’s inspirations are his father Ray Pierce Sr. and his brothers Ray and Ryan. He also credits musicians like Jamie Johnson, Johnny Cash and Conway Twitty for inspiration and influence. The Storm’s bass player / vocalist Jeramy Greenwood is the newest member to the Iron Range Music Scene. It has been a lifelong dream of his to be playing music and entertaining people. Jer is strongly inspired by his father Larry Greenwood. Jeramy’s musical roots stem from Waylon Jennings, to Hank Williams Jr. to Don Williams. Country Storm drummer and singer Gary Dusek has been around music for over 25 yrs. He played in several bands including Chute 7. Gary is also heavily influenced by artists like Conway Twitty. Lead Guitarist / Vocalist Alan Kiesow has years of experience on stage, traveling over much of the United States and sharing the stage with artists such as The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Marty Stuart, Steve Earle, Little Big Town, The Kentucky Headhunters, Jo Dee Messina, Gene Watson, Jerry Reed, Williams & Ree, Lee Roy Parnell, and many others. The newest member to the band is Bill Bulinski on Lead Guitar, Bill has been in the music business for over 30 yrs. Bill is also a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and his musical influences are Chuck Berry and Elvis. Collectively, The Band Country Storm is a high energy, hand clappin’, foot stompin’, good time show that will keep any audience on their feet all night long!
