Ardell Larson President of Kick’n Up Kountry, Inc. has announced that “Nashville Star”Ashlee Hewitt and her talented sister Katrice will welcome special guest Justin Gaston to the Kick’n Up Kountry stage at the 5th annual Kick’n Up Kountry Labor Day Weekend Music Festival.
Originally from Louisiana, Justin left home at age 17 to pursue a career in music while supporting himself as a model. Justin auditioned for Nashville Star Season Six and made the top 12.
While a contestant he performed "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper, "Hey There Delilah" by Plain White T's and "Drops of Jupiter" by Train before being voted off on June 23rd, the third episode of Nashville Star.

Ashlee, a Lancaster, Minnesota resident performed on the “Nashville Star” show reaching 5th place in a field of 45,000 who competed to be one of ten finalists.
