Kick’n Up Kountry Announces 2010 Line Up

Ardell Larson, CEO of Kick’n Up Kountry has just finished putting together the main acts for the 2010 Kick’n Up Kountry festival to be held in Thief River Falls over Labor Day weekend.

The line up is as follows: Friday, Sept 3rd will begin with the Little Kicker Finals followed by the Adult Karaoke Grand Finals. Then the hot new band called “ Heroes & Thieves” will hit the stage followed by the headliner “ Little Texas” Sat. Sept 4th has one act to be announced but will also include Williams & Ree (the Indian the White Guy) 32 Below, and Bucky Covington will be the headliner for Saturday night.Sun. Sept 5th will begin with Pearl Heart (from the Nashville Star Show) followed by Highway 101 and the Crazy White Boys Tour featuring Mark Wills and Josh Gracin

In addition to the main stage shows there will be lots of changes to this years’ festival as there will be an “Emerging Star Band Shell Bash”. This will be music in the band shell beginning at 10:30 each morning on Saturday and Sunday and this will continue into the afternoon. As in the past years, there will be after parties in the Curling Club after the shows are done each night. The bands for these parties will be announced at a later date. There will also be a Kick Off party on Thursday night, Sept 2nd. Everyone is invited to attend the Kick Off party and the after parties in the Curling Club. You do not need a ticket to attend anything that is going on in the Curling Club.

More plans are in the works to bring more things to do to the festival and the staff is excited about all the great entertainment for the Labor Day weekend so make your plans now to attend.
