Kick’n Up Kountry will Feature
Good Old Fashioned Gospel Music
at the Thief River Falls Fairgrounds!

Ardell Larson President of Kick’n  Up Kountry, Inc. has announced that Kick’n Up Kountry campers will be waking up to good old fashioned Gospel Music at the Thief River Falls, MN fairgrounds on Sunday morning, August 31, 2008.

 

All KUK ticket holders are encouraged to be at the Band Shell on the fairgrounds to share in the good news through music. Trinity Trio starts at 10 am and the Overtones at 11am.

 

“There’s nothing quite like good traditional gospel music to bring back fond memories, and nothing like a good festival to create new ones,” said Larson.

 

“Our three-day event in Thief River Falls, Minnesota easily does both!
Come help us celebrate our fifth annual event, as the Kick’n Up Kountry, Inc Country Music Fest combines country music concerts and gospel music for three days of fun, fellowship and frolic. For those who appreciate country music, the 2008 event will be held August 29, 30, and 31 at the Thief River Falls fairgrounds in Thief River Falls, Minnesota.

Ardell would also like to remind everyone that “top recording artists in country music will be appearing at the 2008 Kick N' Up Kountry Music Festival. Jeff Bates will headline Friday, August 29th. Lorrie Morgan will be onstage Saturday afternoon. Joe Nichols will close the curtain on August 30th. Ronnie Milsap and Neal McCoy will bring down the house on August 31st. Other great performances will include the Mustang Sally Band, the Jay Taylor Band from Nashville, Sarah Johns, Bucky Covington, Gwen Sebastian (a Nashville gal born and raised in neighboring rural North Dakota), Jason Jones, the Wayne Renn Band, The Karaoke and Little Kicker Contest Winners, and more. This is sure to be one of the greatest shows ever! The roving Mayberry Cops Comedy Act will be thrilling the crowds all three days and Ted Curfman with his covered wagon and Mules George and Gracie, will be thrilling fans with Free Shuttle Rides from Thief River Falls area Motels.”
