Elks Club present: "Dancing to be a Star"

Ardell Larson President of Kick’n  Up Kountry, Inc. has announced that a new fun event is being introduced at the Elks Club in Thief River Falls, MN.

 

The first “Kick’n Up Kountry Dancing to be a Star Contest” dance competition will take place at the Elks Club on Thursday, July 24 and Thursday July 31, 2008 starting at 8 pm.  

 

The ALL NEW “Dancing to be a Star Contest” is free and open to anyone 21 years of age or older. “The contest winners will have the special privilege of dancing a few steps with Neal Mc Coy and Mustang Sally on the Kick'n Up Kountry Country Music Festival Stage, being held this year at the Thief River Falls Fairgrounds on Aug. 29^th, 30^th and 31^st, 2008,” Ardell said.

 

Dance music will be provided by Peg's Karaoke to any kind of dance routine entrants prefer, including line dancing, solo dancing, couples dancing or any other style.

 

Burgers will be served from 5:30-8:00 pm followed by the dancing competition. You don't want to miss this exciting fun event!

 

The public is invited to come out on Thursday evenings for the next two weeks to cheer on their favorites who are “Dancing to be a Star!” Audience response will be part of the judges scoring. Come and join in the fun on Thursday, July 24th and 31st.
