Free Tickets for Kick’n Up Kountry
Music Festival Volunteers!
Ardell Larson President of Kick’n Up Kountry, Inc. has announced she is accepting volunteer applications for the 2008 Kick’n Up Kountry Music Festival, Labor Day Weekend, August 29th, 30th, and 31st at the Thief River Falls, MN fairgrounds.
“We are always in need of talented, responsible volunteers to help maintain the high quality of this annual event,” Ardell said. Volunteering to work at the Annual Kick’n Up Kountry Country Music Festival is a GREAT way to experience a wide range of country music. One of the BEST parts about volunteering is that YOU GET INTO THE FESTIVAL FOR FREE!
“There are MANY different types of jobs, said Larson. “We need volunteers for at the Festival ranging from Security, Parking and Tickets, to Campgrounds, Janitorial and Set up and Tear Down Crews, Apparel & Souvenir Sales, and EMT’s.. There are many different options WHEN you volunteer.”
Volunteers get a free ticket to the RESERVED seating section. If you volunteer for one day you get a ticket for that day's show only. If you volunteer for the two days, you get a ticket for the whole event. Volunteers will also receive a free Kick'n Up Kountry Staff T-shirt.
Most festival volunteer jobs do not require specialized skills (there are a few exceptions). All new volunteers must be trained by an Area Coordinator who is responsible for making sure their area runs smoothly. Training occurs at group meetings before the Festival.
All you need to do to become a Festival Volunteer is complete a Festival Volunteer Application. Go to www.kicknupkountry.com, print out and return to the KUK, Inc. office. Or Call: Ardell Larson at: (218) 754-2861.
